Hi, I'm CassanDra.

I grew up in the middle of nowhere on a farm in Indiana. We had a tractor day at my high school where you show off your favorite John Deere in the parking lot. I spent summers walking soybean fields spraying milkweeds by hand. I walked 20 feet the sweet corn field outside my 130-year-old farm house to get dinner. So it's no wonder I ended up in Brooklyn. As you can imagine it reminded me a lot of home.

And now I've been here for 19 years. When I'm not thanking my lucky stars that I no longer have to do my banking out of a trailer (it’s true, ask me about it), I'm usually scolding my a nine-year-old daughter for growing up too fast. Besides that, you’ll find me at the gym in complete denial of my advancing age or meditating in order to come to terms with my advancing age—it’s a balancing act.
